SMRT Partners with Grab Driver App

 A feature-packed taxi driver app solution can help cab drivers to work effectively and productively. From managing real-time cab requests to receiving payments, drivers can get all jobs done easily. SMRT Corporation, a multi-modal transport service provider in Singapore, and Grab, a Singaporean multinational ride-hailing company, are working on an on-demand driver services platform for SMRT driver partners. These two companies have announced a partnership to develop a Grab Driver app to help drivers manage their requests, earnings, and more. Grab is providing software as a service for SMRT Taxis (a subsidiary of SMRT Corp).  Apart from ride-hailing services, Grab offers transport technology, food delivery, and courier services. SMRT and Bombardier Sign a Long-Term Train Service Support Contract

SMRT Trains (SMRT), Singapore’s leading rail operator, and Bombardier Transportation (BT), global mobility solution provider, have signed a 10-year service support contract for servicing BOMBARDIER MOVIA trains running in the North-South and East-West Lines (NSEWL) of Singapore’s metro system. SMRT manages and operates train services on the North-South Line, the East-West Line, the Circle Line, the Thomson-East Coast Line, and the Bukit Panjang Light Rail Transit. MOVIA Metro Trains are designed and manufactured by Bombardier Transportation. These trains use an innovative propulsion system and state-of-the-art wireless technology. Bombardier customises the train structure based on the needs of train operators. These trains are used in the NSEWL lines. As part of the 10-year contract between SMRT and Bombardier, BT will provide spares and parts for carrying out the maintenance works of the MOVIA trains.
