Six more MRT stations will be built in Phase 2 of the Cross Island Line

  Singapore’s extensive road-rail-bus network, currently serves over seven million commuters each day. This comprehensive land transport network and infrastructure continue to grow and improve. Recently, the government announced more stations for the Cross Island Line. Six more stations on the Cross Island Line (CRL) will be built and are slated to open in 2032. New MRT stations in Phase 2 of the Cross Island Line  CRL is Singapore’s eighth MRT line, spanning over 50km, connecting the country’s major hubs such as Jurong Lake District, Punggol Digital District, and Changi. Spanning 15km, the six new stations will improve connectivity for residents in the west, including areas such as Sunset Way and West Coast that are not currently served by an MRT line.   The stations are Turf City, King Albert Park, Maju, Clementi, West Coast, and Jurong Lake District, forming Phase 2 of the Cross Island Line. Two of the stations will be interchanges, with King Albert Park linking to the Downtown Line
